Bernstein J. Richard

Ο Ρί­τσαρντ Τζ. Μπερ­ν­στά­ιν (Richard Jacob Bernstein) είναι κα­θη­γη­τής φι­λο­σο­φί­ας στο New School for Social Research της Νέ­ας Υόρ­κης. Γεν­νή­θη­κε το 1932, σπού­δα­σε στα University of Chicago και Columbia University, δί­δα­ξε πα­λι­ό­τε­ρα στο Yale, στο Εβρα­ϊ­κό πα­νε­πι­στή­μιο της Ιε­ρου­σα­λήμ και στο Haverford College. Με­τα­ξύ άλ­λων έχει εκ­δώ­σει τα βι­βλία Praxis and Action, The Restructuring of Social and Political Theory, Philosophical Profiles: Essays in a Pragmatic Mode, Radical Evil: A Philosophical Interrogation, Hannah Arendt and the Jewish Question, Violence: Thinking without Banisters.
